Right of Withdrawal

Right of Withdrawal for Open-Date Gift Vouchers

Consumers have the right to withdraw from a contract for the purchase of open-date gift vouchers within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us:

by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely once an open-date voucher has been redeemed for a specific event date and the reservation has been confirmed by us in writing. From that moment, the voucher is treated as a ticket for a leisure event with a fixed date pursuant to § 312g para. 2 no. 9 German Civil Code (BGB).

No Right of Withdrawal for Tickets with a Fixed Event Date

Pursuant to § 312g para. 2 no. 9 German Civil Code (BGB), there is no right of withdrawal for contracts relating to leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.

Therefore, no right of withdrawal exists for tickets purchased for a fixed event date.
